Dear Vegan Friends....

The Big Sexy survived! It wasn't easy. I thought I had everything under control until I entered the Thanksgiving Day house. The smell smacked the livin' crap out of me. It smelled really, really good.

But immediately, Ms. Sexy and my in law/hosts Steph and Steve triple teamed me and did damage control. I was on the ledge for a minute...uncertain, afraid, feeling naked! Steve....hit me with an awesome glass of wine. Steph pulled me over to the vegan stuffing, sweet potatoe...

I've always loved Thanksgiving. What Fat Fuck wouldn't? After all it was about food, excess, oh yeah and family and being thankful.....and then more food and excess.

The Vegan "Club" and a very sad week.

Last Monday night, I took My Little Big Man to his first pro football game. Eagles vs. Bears. Our team stunk and lost, but we still had a ball. Charlie is enthusiastic about everything in life...and many of the fans sitting around us enjoyed watching his unbridled enthusiasm at the game. It was awesome. He loved it. We loved it.

Breaking Through My Wall

I really relate to this picture. Breaking through the wall to blue skies, beyond bricks on the ground like the crap we have to overcome to transform ourselves towards better health. My bricks are lifelong bad eating habits, a lack of long term exercise, being work obsessed and more recently, overcoming my health setback.
